35A High-Current Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HSB Series

35A High-Current Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HSB Series

The HSB series is designed for high current transmission, and the rated current carrying capacity of the single contact is up to 35A. The diameter of the pin is obviously thickened, and the contact parts are screwed or crimped to minimize the contact resistance and reduce heat generation. The housing size is usually compatible with the mounting openings of the HE or HA series to facilitate power circuit connections on standard cabinets. The anti-touch protection structure is provided externally, conforming industrial electrical safety specifications. Typical applications include servo motor main circuit, battery charging interface, high-power heater, lifting equipment and auxiliary power connections for electric vehicles.

Application Analysis of 35A High Current and Heavy Load Connector HDC-HSB Series

The HSB series (High-Speed Bridge / High-Current) is designed for scenarios where the current demand is higher than the standard HE series (16A), but it hopes to save more space than a large high-voltage modular system. Its rated voltage up to 400V-600V, carrying capacity of 35A, for modern industrial machinery provides an essential power support.

Servo Motor Main Circuit Connection

In high-precision motion control, 35A high-current heavy-duty connectors play a vital role in the power circuit of large servo motors. Unlike the encoder cable that processes the feedback signal, the main circuit requires a continuous large current to meet the motor ‘s torque and acceleration requirements.

Vibration resistance: Servo motors in CNC machine tools or manipulators produce significant micro-vibration. The screw or crimp terminals of the HSB series ensure airtight connection and effectively prevent arc generation.

Shielding and safety: A robust aluminum alloy or plastic housing provides excellent mechanical protection to ensure that 35A power transmission is not disturbed during high-speed operation.

Industrial Battery Charging Interfaces

With the acceleration of the global electrification process, the demand for high-current charging connectors has surged. The HDC-HSB series is frequently used in charging stations for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and heavy industrial forklifts.

High Duty Cycle: Charging connectors need to withstand frequent insertions. Designed to support high-life Mating cycles, the HSB series is ideal for battery swapping or fast charging stations.

Heat dissipation management: Continuously carrying 35A current will generate heat. The HSB series uses silver-plated copper alloy contacts to minimize the contact resistance and ensure that it is kept within a safe thermal limit during a long charging process.

High-Power Heaters

Heat treatment equipment (such as plastic injection molding machines, industrial ovens) rely on industrial heater power plugs to maintain a stable process temperature.

Thermal stability: HSB series adopts advanced polycarbonate core, which can withstand the higher ambient temperature near the heating element.

Reliable current transfer: Current fluctuations can lead to uneven heating. The rated value of 35A provides sufficient safety margin for heaters that usually consume 20-25A to prevent premature failure of components.

Lifting and Material Handling Equipment

In crane, hoist and gantry crane systems, electrical components are exposed to extreme outdoor weather and severe mechanical pressure. The 35A high-current heavy-duty connector HDC-HSB series is the main power link for the lifting motor and the control trolley.

Environmental protection: With IP65 or IP67 grade protective enclosures, these connectors protect the 35A power transmission from dust, rain and oil contamination.

Maintenance simplicity: The HSB modular plug allows the maintenance team to quickly disconnect and replace the lifting module without complex rewiring, significantly reducing the downtime of the logistics hub.

Electric Vehicle Auxiliary Power Connection

In addition to the main traction battery, electric buses and trucks also require electric vehicle auxiliary power connectors to drive subsystems such as air conditioning compressors, hydraulic pumps, and cooling fans.

Compact high power: vehicle chassis space is very limited. The HSB series provides an extremely high power density (Current-to-size ratio) and can provide 35A power distribution in a small space.

Reliability under extreme road conditions: Designed to withstand road bumps and temperature upheavals, the vehicle’s key auxiliary systems are guaranteed to operate stably in complex environments.
