Miniature Standard Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HA Series
The HA series adopts the compact hoods & housings design with an overall small footprint, which is suitable for installation on the limited space equipment shell or control cabinet. It retains the conventional metal structure of the heavy-duty connector, and has IP65 or higher ingress protection against dust and water. The interior provides standard contacts layout of 4~32 pins, mainly for signal transmission and low-voltage power supply connection, and the wiring methods are mostly screw or spring contact. Typical applications include small servo drives, sensor distribution boxes, lighting control cabinets, and instrument enclosures, taking into account industrial durability and installation flexibility.

Compact Design Flexibility: Miniature Standard Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HA Series Application
In the modern industrial field, the trend of ‘miniaturization’ of equipment has prompted engineers to constantly look for components that can provide high performance without being as bulky as traditional hardware.
Miniature Standard Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HA Series is the key solution in this evolution process. Designed for environments with limited installation space, this series offers the rugged reliability of standard heavy-duty interfaces in significantly reduced dimensions. By striking a balance between the Slim-line profile and high-density cabling, the HA series ensures robust electrical connectivity even in the most congested industrial settings.
Small Servo Drives
Modern motion control systems, especially small servo drives, require reliable power and signal transmission within extremely limited installation space. The Miniature Standard Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HA Series is often used in such devices because it can carry the high current required by the motor while perfectly adapting to the narrow frame of the drive unit. Its excellent anti-vibration performance ensures that the connection remains stable in high-speed reciprocating motion, effectively preventing downtime caused by signal interruption.
Intelligent Sensor Distribution Boxes
In large-scale automated production lines, hundreds of sensor signals need to be aggregated into a distribution box. If you use a standard size connector, it will cause the distribution box to be too large and bulky. By integrating HA-10 or HA-16 inserts, engineers can significantly reduce the size of the box. The high pin density of the HA series allows the integration of multiple sensor lines in a single interface, which greatly simplifies on-site wiring and post-maintenance.
Industrial Lighting Control Cabinets
Building and industrial lighting systems usually use complex control cabinets, which are often installed in maintenance ceilings or narrow wall holes. The installation flexibility provided by Miniature Standard Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HA Series meets the needs of these harsh environments. It supports Screw Termination or Crimp Termination, not only for quick assembly on site, but also for protection of control signals from dust and moisture due to its robust housing.
Precision Instrument Shell and Field Equipment
Portable diagnostic equipment and on-site installation of precision instruments need connectors that can withstand harsh environments and have lightweight characteristics. The HA series provides a ‘thin’ interconnection scheme that meets the stringent space requirements of precision electronic instruments without sacrificing electromagnetic shielding and sealing performance.
