Combination Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HK Series
The HK series offers the combination connectors that integrate two different current ratings within the same housing, and the internal is clearly divided into power terminal zone and signal terminal zone.
The power terminal zone is equipped with high current contacts (e.g., 16A~100A) for transmitting the power supply or the main circuit.
The signal terminal zone is configured with low current contact (e.g., 10A~16A) for connecting control signals, sensor feedback or communication lines.
The two zones are isolated from each other to reduce electromagnetic interference, while sharing the same shell and latching mechanism, thereby reducing the number of openings on the equipment panel. The HK series is not a modular design allowing arbitrary mixing of modules, but provides a fixed 'high current + small current' combination scheme. It's suitable for compact devices such as servo drives, small robots, and power tools that require simultaneous connection to power and signal wires.

Optimized Compact Industrial Systems: Application Analysis of the HDC-HK Series Combination Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HK Series
The core advantage of Combination Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HK Series is its ‘All-in-one’ engineering philosophy. By placing high-power contacts and sensitive Signal pins in the same Insert, it eliminates the need for two separate connectors. This not only reduces the occupied area on the equipment panel, but also simplifies the cable management system of the machine.
High-performance Servo Drive Systems
Servo driver is the ‘muscle’ of modern production line, which needs precise control signal and powerful electric energy to drive the motor. The HK series is designed for this duality.
Integrated feedback: small current pins process encoder signals and thermal sensor data to ensure that the driver obtains real-time feedback.
Power transmission: High current contacts provide the required current for the motor, and there is no risk of overheating or interference.
EMI shielding: Although the power and signal are adjacent, the HK series considers signal integrity in design to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by high-current lines from affecting data transmission.
Small Industrial Robots and Cooperative Robots
In small robots and collaborative robots (Cobots), every gram of weight and every millimeter of space are critical. Using Combination Heavy Duty Connector HDC-HK Series, robot engineers can significantly optimize the connection design of joints and bases.
Reduce load weight: By using a hybrid connector, the weight of the cable harness is reduced, thereby improving the robot ‘s motion sensitivity and speed.
Simplified maintenance: When the robot needs to be repaired, the plug-and-play of a single interface is faster than the disassembly of multiple independent joints, which significantly reduces the average repair time (MTTR).
Industrial Power Tools and Fixed Equipment
Heavy-duty industrial power tools (such as large magnetic drills, welding controllers, or high-torque fastening systems) need to be able to withstand vibrations and robust connections with frequent mating cycles.
Durability: The HK series provides the ‘Heavy Duty’ protection required for harsh workshop environments, effectively resisting dust, moisture, and mechanical stress.
Signal accuracy: For intelligent tools that need to track torque data or cycle times, small current pins ensure accurate data transmission to the PLC without loss, and can work stably even in complex electromagnetic environments.
